August 10, 2022:   I started this petition to bring awareness to the hellhole known as the Devore “Shelter”.  I’ve continued this petition because NOTHING HAS CHANGED and in fact it’s only gotten worse! I will continue updates and the amount of killing done by this shelter of HEALTHY AND ADOPTABLE animals is staggering. Recently a reputable rescuer witnessed an employee abusing and terrorizing a cat rendering that cat an absolute basket case who is now shut down and broken in spirit. This is not SHELTERING a homeless animal, this is not offering these living and breathing beings kindness and compassion. It’s bulling, physical and emotional abuse and a clear abuse of POWER. 

Either re-staff this facility or SHUT IT DOWN. Taxpayers of the county of San Bernardino you MUST stand up and fight for change in your community. Be a voice for the voiceless, be an advocate for change ….. DO SOMETHING AND DO IT NOW!

Note: This picture is of Finian - he along with him mom and 2 adorable sisters were all going to be killed by THE DEVORE SHELTER because they had gotten sick - but not deadly sick and they were easily treated and all are healthy and thriving.  This family is alive today because 2 rescues cared and got them out in time! Can you imagine this little boy not here? We can’t either.
