Too bad I just saw this. The animal's need us. Please go if possible. I will be at the vet. Yesterday I witnessed a employee at Devore repeatedly beating the cubby with a hard plastic stick over and over, trying to get the white cat out. Totally freaked him out, and now he is really aggressive and sick, even though he went in friendly. He has to be at vet 1st thing in the morning.

Reminder:
Tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m., the San Berardino, California supervisors will meet to hear the public's views on their latest vote to put on the November ballot a request to have a "fair share" of "state and federal" funding. At the meeting a week ago, what they would use the money for was not said. It is #62 on the agenda though they called a special meeting of a half hour to discuss what might be the fate of millions of San Bernardino residents and especially, animals to be killed in the two Devore shelters.

Any resident can ask to speak before the agenda item comes up and he/she/they can address non-agenda items. One cannot be sure, looking at the meeting if non-residents can speak, but they might be able to send an email.

PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL OBJECTING TO THE CONTINUING TRAPPING AND MASSACRE OF CATS AND KITTENS, DOGS AND PUPPIES BY MANAGERS OF THE SHELTER IN DEVORE AND BIG BEAR.

PLEASE REQUEST A SANCTUARY BE SET UP INSTEAD OF USING THE MONEY VOTED FOR A NEW FACILITY.
