This poor cat is so sick and traumatized. I was going to take a break Rescuing Devore cat's, but Xxxxxx contacted me and was interested in helping this cat (which looked like her Snow Paw missing from Fire in Paradise). From His intake photo we both knew he belonged to someone, as he looked clean and healthy. God took me there for a reason, and I knew they must abuse them there because many go from Friendly to Rescue Only for behavior. It ruins any chance for adoption, and they told her on the phone she couldn't adopt him. So I had to get a 501c3 to help me, and what I witnessed confirmed what I suspected all along. I fear that voicing what I saw may mean No More Pull Rights, but I hope this makes a difference � for the animal's. I called yesterday for the name of emoyee and they wouldn't give it to me. I will continue with this complaint, despite how little time, data, etc. I have. My phone is out of internal storage, but I just submitted this to San Bernardino County through a email. Cooper is unadoptable now because of their abuse. Sick, shut down, and I couldn't get him in yesterday. We are doing Urgent Walk In at Butterfield Vet, waiting in the parking lot. He suffered abuse at Devore and I witnessed it. Wish I had a full video, but was out of internal storage. I emailed this short version:

Hi, 

 I rescue cat's from Devore, and they are Abusing animal's there. I witnessed it 8-7-22 while rescuing a cat that went in friendly, but they traumatized him so bad he became Rescue Only. I was waiting outside the door and could see the employee repeatedly furiously striking something with a hard stick. I had to knock 3 different times louder each time. When she let me in I was able to see what she was beating. She was trying to get the poor cat from the cubby into my plastic carrier. I immediately took the hard plastic stick (with little hook at end) and tried calming kitty with gentle talk. I myself transfered the cat whom was totally distraught. I have more to say and I am contacting a News station. Abuse is supposed to be a felony, and Devore is Abusing animal's and ruining any chance at adoption.

Also empty water bowl for kitten in the friendly room.
