This is Noah. He was a beautiful black Labrador Retriever, who had the misfortune of ending up at the Death Camp known as The Devore Shelter in San Bernardino County with a BROKEN LEG. NOT DYING, NOT SICK, HE HAD A BROKEN LEG. HE WAS MURDERED BY THE STAFF AT THIS SHELTER FOR A BROKEN LEG. This is outrageous. Noah obviously is, now, WAS, a dog, injured, not ill. How hard it must be to be all of you! How hard must your hearts be to kill this beautiful dog. To kill this beautiful dog! What is wrong with you? You befuddle all of us out here doing everything we can to save dogs that are thrown away like trash. Are you proud of your community? Are you part of the problem, or are you a part of the solution? I would say you're not part of the problem, I would say you are the core of the problem in the city you work. I hope to God your children your mother your father your animals do not live where you work you are all embarrassing and sad to me. We do everything we can to save these animals and your ridiculous rule of not allowing a medical case to be granted any additional time is absolutely ludicrous. But to kill a fabulous beautiful big black dog with a broken leg is your legacy. This, if you choose, will be all of your legacies. We will find a way to make sure that your history is written in the books. I'm really ashamed for all of you. But mostly, I'm sorry for your entire San Bernardino community, you are not a good representation and maybe they don't give a damn - however, us out here in animal land and dog land - We Do....We Do. In response to the criticism received by people calling into Devore after Preston died in his kennel a few weeks ago, you have instituted a policy that all dogs requiring a medical waiver will be euth listed their first day available and will not be given extensions. This is the first day we saw Noah on the elist !We were desperately planning his rescue and had a high amount of funds to cover his medical care. Suddenly he was ordered to be killed by your staff. He would not have died in his kennel over a broken leg. There was no reason to kill him... Noah is a victim of your new policy. that appears to be retaliation over criticism and calls made over Prestons death in his kennel several weeks ago. Rather than apply this "new rule" to all dogs that have a medical waiver , killing dogs that don't have life threatening conditions is not humane just looks again like retaliation to criticism whereby Devore is known for the past.. This is not ok. im deeply saddened by this action . The community is again very disturbed and grieving this poor dogs needless killing. Please respond to why this unfair rule has been instituted .
