Samuhik Rakshabandhan

The Issue

Everyone can’t afford to go home for Rakshabandhan either due to monetary issues or because it’s simply impractical to go home but stay only for a couple of hours (for people who live quite far from Mumbai and go by train). Also, there may be many students who don’t have a brother or sister. As a result, many students will feel left out this weekend when their classmates leave for their hometown one by one and they’re left here feeling lonely. Even they deserve to feel the love of their sibling, they deserve to feel the love of Rakshabandhan. So let’s organize Samuhik Rakshabandhan in OAT on 26th August at 9:30 am. Since so many people showed up for Salsa Night, it is expected that just as much if not more people show up for Rakshabandhan considering unlike Salsa Night, this is a part of Indian heritage.
