Congratulations to everyone who signed and shared this petition. Your voices have been heard.
Samsung has now switched to using an optimized version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in all S23 phones, regardless of region.

Please keep reminding them that we want parity in our devices until this becomes the norm.

Thank you for your continued support!

Samsung has long offered two variants of its flagship Galaxy phones.
US, China, and several other markets get a model with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Meanwhile, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Korea tend to get a version with the in-house Exynos processor.

Some Exynos phones (for ex. Galaxy S20), also use Samsung camera sensors, whereas, the Snapdragon variant uses superior Sony sensors.

Exynos phones are shown to perform slower, have worse battery life, use inferior camera hardware and processing, overheat and throttle faster, amongst other issues.

It is unfair for Exynos devices to be priced the same, or in some markets, even higher than their Qualcomm counterparts. At the very least, we would appreciate it if Samsung were transparent about these inconsistencies.

We've had to accept this over many years and many different iterations of their phones. Every year we've hoped for Samsung to either give us the same device or make their own parts perform on par with the competition. They have failed to deliver on these requests over and over again.

In this age of transparency, it is time for a change. We the consumers must demand fair treatment from Samsung, or spend our hard-earned money elsewhere.

Samsung, please hear us out! We love your devices and we wish to continue enjoying them, but you need to do right by your customers.
