We, the people of Sammamish, hereby call on City Council to immediately approve and execute a Farmer's Market for the coming year, as proposed by the Chamber of Commerce.

The benefit to our community, our small businesses, and our physical and mental health that a local farmer's market poses vastly outweighs the mere $10,000 that lies at the heart of this contract dispute between our council and the Chamber of Commerce.

Work with the Chamber of Commerce towards a new contract that makes the 2021 Farmers Market a reality and fulfills the City's need for documentation on a going-forward basis. We call on this council to put the needs of the community first.
