My brother was only 24 years young when he lost his life to an addiction that he struggled to cure. Some days were challenging and some days he declared defeat. Me nor my family were able to help him get that help that he needed because of our state law stating that only the addicted can sign themselves into a rehab under their own will. I think everyday that if the laws were changed and I or my mother, god rest her soul, could’ve signed him into a place to help get him clean he would still be here today! So please help this change for it can save a thousand lives!
