In four days blaine high school will be having the graduation ceremony for the class of 2021. As many students all around the district know Blaine high school suffered the loss of not one but four deaths throughout the last year and a half. One of these students being Sam Casperson, The school doesn’t want to announce his name at the graduation ceremony Sunday because it “glorifies” suicide. But how can it glorify something never talked about? The school did nothing but push away everything that was happening and do the bare minimum to “help” the students and leaving them struggling. By letting the students graduate with their classmate it gives so many comfort and peace knowing that he is with them. He deserves just as much as any of his peers to have his turn to walk. Sam was truly one of a kind. Sams life mattered just as much as anyone else walking that stage this weekend. They can’t try and act like this didn’t happen anymore.
