DID YOU KNOW, IN THE CITY OF SAN JOSE, WE ONLY NEED 100,000 SIGNATURES TO REMOVE THE MAYOR FROM OFFICE? Check here for info.

Mayor Sam Liccardo has failed the City of San Jose. In 2018 Liccardo won the re-election for Mayor. Since then he hasn't done much more than stay under the Radar and try and sway away from controversial topics. He managed to get by, though many residents disagreed with what he was doing, there wasn't much spotlight on him, and not enough fuel in the fire for people to truly want change.

Change is scary, but necessary. What started off during the pandemic as Liccardo just trying to not have any opinions, quickly turned into him showing his true colors to the city.

When asked to join in on the BLM protests and assistance from the police force, Mayor Liccardo decided it wouldn't be best for him to show up - until 3 days later of course, where he came to the protests, took over our megaphones, and said a half-assed speech on why he believes the BLM movement is great. He took a knee for a photo-op and then immediately left to the press to brag about how great of a Mayor he is and how STANDS with his city.

We thought maybe this was good, but it proved wrong once again as we DEMANDED reform of the police, Mayor Liccardo decided, that we we're wrong. In the latest budget hearing he has decided that we don't need reform, we actually need MORE police officers and less of other services.

The city called in crying and begging the Mayor and the City Council is take into account all the injustices not only across the country, but the MANY that happen directly in our home town.

We ask for reform of the police department and to remove any officers that have a past of violent tendencies, excessive force, or even deadly force. There are officers TO THIS DAY that have killed innocent Black & Brown lives right here in our streets, who have even LOST IN COURT, that they were wrongfully killed, and they are STILL patrolling our streets.

The city of San Jose is Recalling Mayor Sam Liccardo for more reason than can fit on this page.

TO MAYOR SAM LICCARDO:
All the city wants is some real, good change for the betterment of our community. Right now, we are getting nothing but Lip Service from you and we can see right through it. Listen to your constituents, reform the police, defund the police, fire all the officers necessary, stop selling us out to Google, and start paying closer attention to the REAL PEOPLE OF SAN JOSE
