In Loving Memory of Sam Creel Yesterday, we lost a beloved son, friend, and classmate. Sam Creel tragically passed away following a heartbreaking accident at Glassman Pond, where he fell through the ice and was submerged for two hours before first responders were able to reach him. Despite the efforts to save him, Sam sadly passed away a few hours later at a nearby hospital. As a fellow student and friend, I believe it is important to honor Sam’s memory in a meaningful way. I propose a spirit day across South Ogden City, Utah, where we wear Sam’s favorite color, blue, to celebrate his life and the lasting impact he made on all of us. Let us come together as a community to show our love and support for Sam’s family, his friends, and all those who are mourning his loss. Sam’s spirit will continue to live on in our hearts.
