The petition with its 342 comments was submitted to the Salvation Army on 30th November 2019. I am pleased to report that I received a very prompt reply from the leader of the Salvation Army in the UK, Commissioner Anthony Cotterill, offering an invitation to meet with him to discuss the concerns raised in the petition. I will meet with him in London later this month. I would value your thoughts for us both, and if you are a praying person, your prayers, as we grapple together with this historic injustice which has adversely affected the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of former officers. I will provide a further update after the meeting.
The petition is still open and has now exceeded 1000 signatories. Now is a good time to keep sharing it to help raise awareness and increase the number of signatures and comments even further.
Thank you so much much for your ongoing help and support!
