La misión continúa: Protejamos a los perros de Benalmádena
Un gobierno que realmente quiere a los animales siempre se asegura de que los que no tienen voz no sufran.
Con la jubilación de Helen Williams y el cierre del nombre Fidelio, nuestra campaña entra en un nuevo capítulo, pero nuestra misión sigue siendo urgente: asegurar que ningún perro en Benalmádena se quede sin refugio ni cuidados.
PSOE ha prometido que, si son elegidos, construirán un refugio en un año, garantizando cuidado para todos los perros locales y manteniendo abierto el refugio actual hasta que el nuevo esté listo.
Ahora exigimos que el gobierno actual cumpla de inmediato con este mismo compromiso:
Mantener Fidelio abierto hasta que el nuevo refugio esté completamente construido
Aceptar a todos los perros locales de inmediato, sin excepciones
️ Asegurar que el nuevo refugio esté terminado y listo para funcionar
Una nueva asociación local (nombre próximamente) asumirá la gestión, apoyada por los mismos voluntarios, adoptantes y vecinos que han llevado esta campaña adelante.
Esta campaña no se trata de política, sino de responsabilidad, compasión y comunidad. Seguiremos exigiendo al gobierno actual que cumpla, trabajando con todos los partidos y con el Ayuntamiento para que estas promesas se hagan realidad.
Nuestros objetivos siguen claros:

The Mission Continues: Protect Benalmádena’s Dogs
A government that truly loves animals will always make sure the ones without a voice do not suffer.
With Helen Williams retiring and the Fidelio name closing, our campaign enters a new chapter — but our mission remains urgent: ensure no dog in Benalmádena is left without shelter or care.
PSOE has pledged that, if elected, they will build a shelter within a year, guarantee care for all local dogs, and keep the current shelter open until the new one is ready.
Now, we are demanding that the current government immediately follow this same commitment:
Keep Fidelio open until the new shelter is fully built
Accept all local dogs immediately, with no exceptions

A new local association (name coming soon) will take over operations, supported by the same volunteers, adopters, and residents who have carried this movement forward.
