Equipo, ¡el 25 de septiembre fue una gran victoria para nosotros!
La reunión en el Ayuntamiento salió justo como buscábamos. Aunque el resultado de la votación era bastante previsible, conseguimos algo mucho más importante: cada concejal tuvo que mojarse. Nada de quedarse en la valla—todos tuvieron que elegir bando.
El partido actual ahora se ha quedado completamente aislado como el único que quiere cerrar el refugio, sin ofrecer ninguna alternativa razonable. Ni siquiera VOX quiso tocar este tema.
Dentro del salón, el apoyo a Fidelio fue increíble: la gente aplaudía a rabiar y, por lo que se vio en las retransmisiones en directo, el Ayuntamiento rara vez ha visto algo así. Mientras tanto, la ciudad está buscando soluciones desesperadamente. Intentan venderse como salvadores de animales mientras cierran el único refugio de perros de la ciudad y bloquean la entrada de nuevos animales. Cualquier persona con sentido común puede ver que esta estrategia está condenada al fracaso.
Ahora tenemos con más de 5.723 firmas, una muestra impresionante de apoyo. Pero esto no es suficiente para forzar un cambio real.
Necesitamos subirlo al siguiente nivel. Cada firma, cada compartida, cada voz cuenta. Seguid compartiendo esta petición urgentemente, y seguid las páginas de Instagram y Facebook para manteneros al día y ayudar a amplificar el mensaje.
La lucha no ha terminado—pero ayer demostramos lo poderosos que somos cuando actuamos juntos. Ahora toca convertir el impulso en resultados. ¡Vamos a por todas!

Team, September 25 was a huge win for us!
The City Hall meeting turned out exactly as we aimed for. While the vote result was largely predictable, we achieved something far more important: every councillor had to take a stand. No more sitting on the fence—everyone had to choose a side.
The current party has now completely isolated themselves as the only ones pushing to close the shelter, without offering any reasonable alternative. Even VOX didn’t want to touch this issue.
Inside the chamber, the support for Fidelio was incredible—people were clapping loudly, and it was clear from the live feeds that the City Council has rarely seen anything like this before. Meanwhile, the city is scrambling for solutions. They are trying hard to portray themselves as saviours of animals while shutting down the only dog shelter in the city and blocking entry for new dogs. Anyone with common sense can see through this strategy—it’s doomed.
We now have over 5,723 signatures—an amazing show of support. But this is not enough to force real change.
We need to ramp it up to the next level. Every signature, every share, every voice counts. Keep sharing this petition urgently, and follow the Instagram and Facebook pages to stay updated and help amplify the message.
