Gracias a vuestro increíble apoyo, nuestra petición ha superao las 4.071 firmas. El ayuntamiento ha intentao ignorarnos, pero hemos lograo forzar un voto no vinculante que involucrará a todos los miembros del pleno. Ya no hay más paños calientes.

 ️ El Voto – 25 de Septiembre de 2025
El pleno del Ayuntamiento decidirá sobre tres cuestiones clave sobre el futuro de la protectora Fidelio:

Mantener en funcionamiento la actual protectora FIDELIO por tiempo indefinido y mientras no exista alternativa en la ciudad.
Permitir a FIDELIO la acogida y recogida de animales abandonados sin restricciones, con el objetivo de trasladar a los animales cuando haya alternativa disponible.
Definir públicamente el modelo de alternativa a FIDELIO que plantea el actual gobierno municipal, ya sea gestión directa, indirecta, a través de otra protectora existente, etc., y que tenga reflejo real en los presupuestos municipales.
 ️ Aunque el voto sea no vinculante, los resultados dejarán claro cómo se posiciona cada concejal. Los concejales serán recordaos por cómo actúen en este tema, y la ciudadanía los tendrá en cuenta en los próximos años.

Thanks to your incredible support, our petition has reached over 4,071 signatures! The city has tried to ignore us, but we’ve forced a non-binding vote that will involve all City Council members. No more sitting on the fence.

 ️ The Vote – September 25, 2025

The City Council will decide on three key questions regarding the future of the Fidelio dog shelter:

Keep the current Fidelio shelter running indefinitely until a proper alternative exists in the city.
Allow Fidelio to continue taking in abandoned animals without restrictions, with the goal of transferring animals when an alternative becomes available.
Publicly define the alternative plan to Fidelio proposed by the current municipal government, whether through direct management, indirect management, via an existing shelter, etc., and ensure it is properly reflected in the municipal budget.
  Even though the vote is non-binding, the results will reveal how each council member stands. Council members will be remembered for how they act on this issue, and the public will hold them accountable in the years ahead.
