First of all, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has signed, shared and supported this cause. I am proud to update you all with some exciting news that shows us that we are on the path to sucessfully creating change where it is long overdue. I was made aware that Julie Adams,  the 7-12 Principal, has emailed students announcing that there will be a meeting held on June 2 to discuss an updated dress code. How ever, there was a confidentiality notice attached to the bottom of the email, which has resulted in students feeling intimated into not sharing this news online. Additionally, I have not been contacted by anyone from SCSD, and the only updates I have are from current students. Nonetheless, this is really wonderful news, and I am thrilled to see that at least now, there is a conversation being had. More updates to come after I receive word on how the meeting goes. Thank you all again for your overwhelming support, and I look forward to continuing pushing forward with you until we see our exact demands acknowledged and addressed.
