Hi Guys, Afternoon, how is everyone doing?   We did it!!! After 3 months and 19 days of heartache, I have finally received the news I had been hoping and praying for! Due to the particular circumstances around my case, the Home Office recently contacted my employers and offered advice and assistance with regards to a new sponsorship application by my employer...this has now been successful and I will be allowed to continue in my work position.   I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who signed the petition, donated, and supported my case in any way possible. Your support has been incredible and helped me to keep the faith and hang on when at times all seemed lost.   I would also like to thank Matt Foster and Politics Home for their amazing support and platform. I am also grateful to the Birmingham Mail, ITV Central News, The Independent and BBC Radio WM for picking up the story and giving me a platform to share my story. Dina Rickman was the first person to offer any guidance and support so thank you for your wisdom and kind words. Stephen Doughty MP, Yvette Cooper MP, David Lammy MP, Shabana Mahmood MP, the Home Affairs Select Committee, Migrant Voice Uk, and all others who went on the record or worked behind the scenes to publicise the case and put pressure on the Home Office...thank you so much for taking up my case personally.   As you can imagine it has been extremely tough at times, but common sense, compassion and natural justice have prevailed and I am overjoyed at the news. I am looking forward to resuming work and getting my life back on track.   Have a wonderful week and thank you again for your support. God Bless.   Warmest Regards, Hamza Idris.
