I just got an email from Mayor Pike after asking him if they had spoken to council members about putting pet sale ban on agenda, this was his reply: Corinne, I have spoken with council members individually and there is no appetite to put into effect an ordinance as you've described at this time. We believe people are able to express their feelings on this matter directly to those who may be in the pet store business rather than through legislation.
