With this pandemic situation in the world, looking at the state in the UK where business have asked to be shut down however food stores will still be running to feed the nation!! Are the employees working for food stores (Retail) not human being?? Are they covid proof or something? The amount of people that rush into stores to buy stuff aren’t causing others at risk of getting infected??? Why aren’t stores making it mandatory for staff to wear masks n protective clothes so the don’t get infected and pass on the infection? How is this even a lock down?? Where half of the family members working from home to avoid getting infected or future infecting people whereas one or two member working for retail and have to travel n meet so many other people during the day! Are we waiting to be in a situation like Italy?? The NHS take measure to keep themselves protected when attending to patients with the virus. What about the employees that work For retail stores. They are also sacrificing their lives to feed the nation. And what appreciation do they get?? It’s really sad they have to put their lives to risk just so you and I don’t run out of food.
