With so much pressure Sage nursing home HAD agreed to negotiate with us and we agreed to hold off with our plans for strike action.

But now they have gone silent on us and it looks like we may have to strike. We'd rather not but if we don't stand up now we will never change things.

We really need all the help we can get to avoid strike action and get Sage around the table. You can continue to support us by:

1. Writing to Sage:

(adrian@adrianjacobs.co.uk, stephen@nmholdings.co.uk, jason.zolin@thesagehome.com)

Dear Adrian and Stephen,

I am aware that workers in Sage Nursing home are asking for £12 per hour and equal annual leave and sick pay to the NHS.

The pandemic has shed light on the incredible service these workers pay to our communities, and they have been true heroes during this pandemic. It is not fair or right that they should risk their lives and carry out such important work on such low wages and with such poor conditions.

Please do the right thing and set the example for care homes everywhere: talk to their union, settle this dispute and improve the wages and terms and conditions of workers.
