Safety matters. So does clinical stability.

Rigid THC caps without clear clinical exceptions risk destabilising veterans who are currently stable under supervised care. Improved sleep, reduced nightmares, better daily functioning, and decreased reliance on sedating pharmaceuticals are measurable safety outcomes.

Specialist-only prescribing and mandatory in-person resets may create unintended access barriers — particularly in regional and rural Australia. Safety should not become inaccessibility.

What’s missing is structured education on the Endocannabinoid System, safe titration principles, and transparent veteran-specific outcome monitoring.

Restriction alone does not equal safety.
            Balanced reform, education, and oversight do.
