The debate over trans athletes has a very simple answer. Sports need to be divided by age and weigh ins. If you want sports to be safe for student athletes that is the only way. If they have exceptional skills and want to compete at a higher age or weight class, with the support of the students parents and coach, there should be a pathway for that. It doesn't matter what gender they are. Wrestling in Maine is a coed sport and girls have won multiple times.

This is a culture war that doesn't actually solve anything. It is not keeping athletes safe. It is making them targets.
