After crunching the numbers, we realized that Birmingham Southern College would end up with a hypothetical bed space of over 1,000 beds—this is too big for the target population. Mayor Randall Woodfin, our neighborhood president Ms. Gibson and county officials have been notified of the site change. We've also updated the petition to reference the former Elyton School.
