As Fall 2021 semester is coming closer to an end and Spring 2022 schedules have been released close to registration dates, concerns regarding the upcoming semester are growing amongst the students at CSUS. It has been made notable that there is scarce avaibility on online options creating uncertainty that those who need the online version will not be able to get into that class due to the high volume of students. Including students also not being able to arrange new housing arrangement or commit to a lease for one semester, some even having to change and quit jobs or ultimately not attend classes for Spring 2022. As a fellow student, we are directly asking President Robert S. Nelson to consider allowing department chairs on offering more online course sections and/or recording lectures.
