Sack The CEO & Board of Directors at WEST TIGERS

The issue

West Tigers Supporters 12 Years Of Pain

The West Tigers have been absent from the finals for nearly twelve years, and a losing culture has pervaded the club, causing pain and disappointment for its members and supporters.

The team has struggled to retain top players, often losing them to rival teams, and has made ill-advised recruiting decisions, resulting in a cycle of underperformance.

The negative culture and weak leadership have also contributed to the decline of the club.

In the past 12 years, the West Tigers have:

  • had seven different coaches (Tim Sheens, Mick Potter, Jason Taylor, Andrew Webster, Ivan Clearly, Michael Maguire & Brett Kimmorley)
  • finished in the bottom eight every season and received the wooden spoon in 2022
  • been unable to hold on to star players
  • made extremely poor recruiting decisions
  • undergone four player/coach cleanouts, resulting in no improvement

Despite numerous coaching and personnel changes, the results have remained the same.

While Tim Sheens, Benji Marshall, and Robbie Farah have recently rejoined the coaching staff, the team's struggles continue, with a 0-3 record and subpar performances.

To move forward, the West Tigers must undertake a significant overhaul. The CEO, board of directors and chairman must be replaced, and a comprehensive investigation of past decisions must occur. Without proper change at the top, a winning culture cannot be established.

It is time for the supporters of the club to demand change by boycotting games, merchandise, and memberships until the necessary actions are taken.

Update: Tigers are now 0-7 to start the season. Things are going from bad to worse.
