Bring Back Zola7

Bring Back Zola7
The Issue
We request to SABC, MNet, ETV or any relevant TV media company that ‘Zola 7’ be brought back as the show changed many South Africans lifes. Zola 7 was a reality TV show in which Bonginkosi Dlamini aka Zola assisted citizen who wrote to him asking that he aid them make their dreams to come true.
Zola, who grew up in Soweto, raised by a single parent and went through many other hardships growing up. He went on to become a successful actor and musician. Despite his fame, he identified with his audience and sympathised with their plight –many took the time to write to him, telling him of their concerns and ambitions. At the peak of his career, Zola was passionate about helping other young recognize and fulfill their dreams that they wouldn’t otherwise achieve on their own. He used his connections and resources to make their dreams a reality. Among many achievements on the Zola 7 show was the building of a library in Mthatha.
Zola 7, however, has been cancelled and the media has done nothing but tear Zola down. In short, we want our “kasi hero” back in the industry.. If we can have slots for shows like Uyajola 9/9, After Tears and Uyangthanda Na, surely we can get airtime for Zola 7 back to our TV screens.
