The Adelaide Park Lands are unique. We have the only city in the world built inside a Park.    But the State Government seems determined to sell off or build over large parts of the Park Lands, including to commercial interests.   It's recently built, proposed or authorised on Park Lands: a casino extension, shops, offices, apartments, more schools, a busway, the new RAH, and many other things.  The Government appears to have no appreciation of the world significance of our Park Lands.  Its “quick-buck” policies seem destined to make Adelaide as congested as other cities - throwing away (or selling!) our heritage.    Please, Premier: think again.  

Yes, Adelaide should welcome development - but not at the expense of our world-unique Park Lands.
