This bill eliminates the Inheritance Transfer Tax and raises the threshold on the Estate Tax to Federal Standards. Currently, the threshold on the Inheritance Tax is $500 and severely impacts low and middle income people. This tax also taxes certain blood relatives but not others. Step Children, even though they are not blood relatives are not taxed. This tax is discrimination and double taxation.
