In the fall of 2022 you signed the "STOP school bus passing" petition in support of better enforcement of the existing "no passing" school bus law in Massachusetts. Since then I have been working hard to raise awareness - most notably through a partnership with Peabody, MA and a company called BusPatrol.

We're collecting much needed illegal school bus passing violation data and have been receiving extensive media coverage.

Through this partnership, Peabody installed cameras on just 10 school buses (they have 30).  Over 2,500 drivers have ignored the red flashing lights and school bus stop sign since September 2023. 

If we consider the additional buses in Peabody and the 350 other cities and towns in the state - we are potentially looking at over a million school bus passing violations putting MA kids' lives at risk when they need to cross the street.

Although kids are getting hit by cars & this safety initiative has been featured several times on multiple news outlets, Massachusetts policy makers are taking NO ACTION.  But you can and here's how...
