4th Semester for COE students at Thapar University has non core subjects like Thermo-fluids,Manufacturing Processes, Solids and structures comprising a major portion in total credits of the semester. Such subjects are of no use to Computer Engineering students. Every student studies such subjects only to score marks and the real purpose of education that is learning is cut short. If such subjects are removed/reduced, COE students can devote more time to their core subjects and skillful.
