Hello All

I am stopping by to alert you to a sudden announcement by Rockwell that it will hold a 'Show and Tell' event to reveal up-dated plans for its One Battersea Bridge tower proposal.

The event runs from 10am-2pm on Saturday, 12th October at the Glassmill building.

There will also be an online event from 7-8pm on Monday, 14th October.

It appears that leaflets about these events were only distributed within a small area  close to the site.

It is expected that part of the new design is a reduction in the height of the tower. Readers to this parish will be aware that such a tactic was predicted many months ago. It is standard practice deployed by such developers. Propose something utterly abhorrent that will clearly be hated, then reduce it by a fraction and say, 'Well, at least it is better than the last one'. Well, yes of course it is - but it is still abhorrent!  

If you are genuinely interested in helping stop this tower, please attend the meeting and make your feelings heard.
