Good Afternoon!!

Hi Everyone! I saw an alert via NBC News this morning stating that the House of Representatives was leaving Washington, DC, until November, and I got really upset. I was upset because I knew Tyler’s Law was supposed to have a potential floor vote this month, and I thought it was now pushed off until November. I reached out to Mrs. Shamash expressing my frustration/anger, whatever you want to call it. Well… “Tyler’s Law passed the House yesterday. Now the Senate has to agree to put this version through and to vote on the House version. So apparently the Senate ‘took’ some of the house bills, so they owe them to put the House bill version through. They will do unanimous consent which means if no offices object, it goes through and on to the president to sign.” How amazing is this news?!?
