More information:

Ryan Road East is very dangerous for the residents and businesses. There are 47 driveways and 4 roads that require either stopping or slowing to a crawl to turn in, and the speed limit is 80 km/hr. The speed is also 80 km/hr through a busy 4-way intersection with a light that does not even have a designated left turn signal. There have been numerous motor vehicle accidents (MVA) at Ryan & Anderton, as well as many dogs and deer killed along this stretch. This road is used a lot for biking, walking, and jogging. The shoulders are very narrow. There is no crosswalk between Anderton intersection and the Base. There are many transport trucks using this road that cannot stop quickly. Another issue is passing on the right, which is done regularly and is extremely dangerous.
