On July 27, 2021 Representative Heidi Sampson spoke at an event in Belfast, Maine by Arise USA which is run by Robert Steele.

Heidi Sampson was urged on social media to not appear on stage with Steele by the Congregation Beth Israel of Bangor, ME due to Steele’s anti Semitic and Holocaust denying views.

Sampson was also asked on social media repeatedly by members of the community to not share a stage with anyone with extremist views.

Steele was the organizer of the event, he was not just a speaker. He has not hidden his views, they are on his own blog. Heidi Sampson should be held accountable for speaking at an event organized by someone who spreads misinformation about the Jewish people. She should be removed from her legislative committees immediately. She is currently on the Committee on Education and Cultural Affairs. How can she be on this committee if she is complicit with an anti Semite?
