Gord Downie passed away last year.  He left a hole in a country's heart.  It would be an amazing tribute by one of his inspirations to have the man, Ry Cooder, say a few words during his act this summer. 

For over 20 years the Island Music Festival has been trying to get Ry to come to their venue.  This year they've manage to secure his attendance.  How wonderful would it be for the country brimming with TTH fans to be able to close this loop for Gord!
