As the COVID-19 (B.K.A “Coronavirus”) begins to spread across the United States and Tennessee, it would be in the best interest to close schools until further notice.

Major universities in Middle Tennessee have closed their doors for the rest of the semester and moved to remote classes. Many city ordinances around the country limit groups over one thousand (1,000) people due to Coronavirus. Many of our schools have almost double that amount of students and staff. 

The Coronavirus can be especially easy to transmit, as many people infected can show no symptoms for up to 2 weeks after catching the virus. Many parents and students believe it would be in the best interest of our community to close down schools to prevent this spread of the virus.
