FREE THEM FROM THEIR CHAINS!!!! YOU MUST LIVE IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY TO SIGN!

There are so many dogs that are chained in yards all across Rutherford County 24/7 and living in their own excrement. Most of these dogs lack socialization, proper exercise, love, nourishment,  human interactions and can become aggressive along with many other side effects including freezing to death and heat exposure. This causes death, nuisance complaints by residents, proposes a danger to small animals, children and other pets. It causes physical and psychological damage to their well being, in some instances they have insufficient amounts of food, water, lack of proper shelter.  They are vulnerable  to predator attacks such as coyotes, Bob cats and even cougars because they can't efficiently defend themselves.

United States department of Agiculture has stated, " Our experience in enforcing the animal welfare act has concluded that continuous confinement of dogs by a tether is inhumane." Nashville has already had an ordinance in place of no tethering by any means for dogs. It's time Rutherford County take a stand and do the same. Let's be the voice of these helpless dogs! Texas has also recently passed this law!

PLEASE SHARE! Signatures will be turned into the proper people to hopefully put the ordinance into place and or ammend 39-14-202. Cruelty to animals making it illegal to have pets live their lives on chains.  Not just if it causes them outside bodily harm but the mental harm you can't see!
