On 24th of August 2019 Russian police have abducted a prominent video blogger/journalist, political activist and say they are investigating his citizenship amid increasing concerns about the safety of reporters in Russia. Elvin ISAYEV (https://www.youtube.com/c/ЭльвинИсаев) who have made videos about the dictatorship in Azerbaijan and calling people to stand against unlawful arrests and for basic human rights to be restored in Azerbaijan. Elvin ISAYEV was detained on Saturday on his way home from a workplace, by a group of masked police officers (special forces), according to witnesses. The way this journalist, video blogger, and political activist was abducted, by men claiming to be police, is very ominous and further evidence that the press is not safe in President Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

Lately, he was openly getting death threats from pro-government supporters and was asked to stop his partnership with famous human rights defender, lawyer and the founder of “AzerFreedom TV” – Mr. Gurban Mammadov, who is in exile, granted protection by the United Kingdom in 2018.

His last few video appeals to Azerbaijani government and messages addressed to its courts together with law enforcement, was to release unlawfully arrested 77 people last year in connection with GANJA protests and brutal ill-treatment by police during those arrests and while people were already in custody. There were many reports that arrested youngsters were beaten up, electrocuted and were denied medicine and doctor attendance where they needed them.
Elvin ISAYEV talked about death threats made to him and his family members number of times on his own YouTube channel and called for Azerbaijani government to stop those threats and start changing the way it treats Azerbaijani citizens.

He also organized a “car convoy protests” against Azerbaijani regime in Saint-Petersburg / Russia, gathering people from Azerbaijan to show support for those who are under pressure from the current dictatorship of Azerbaijan, for “AzerFreedom TV”, which could be viewed here:

Elvin ISAYEV’s arrest is politically motivated and the sole purpose of his arrest is to silence him and put pressure on people who are trying to get the truth out in the open about Azerbaijan’s dictator regime. We demand his immediate release without any further delay and all media and human rights organizations to support this appeal in the name of freedom and safety of video bloggers, political activists and show solidarity towards those who suffer under the current regime, a dictatorship of Azerbaijani president ILHAM ALIYEV.

Уважаемый Президент

Обращаюсь к вам как общественник , вчера из социальных сетей узнал,  что в городе Санкт-Петербурге произошла само управа и беззаконие.

Спец службы задержали гражданина РФ уроженца Азербайджана Исаева Эльвина Ильтихам оглы 21.10.1980 года рождения.

Человек который получил гражданство в 1998 году , потом через 21 год ему предъявляют , что он получил гражданство нелегально.

Довожу до вашего сведения , что правоохранительные органы выполняют заказ азербайджанской республики , так как Эльвин Исаев Азербайджанец , активно борется за несправедливость которая происходит в Азербайджане,  конечно,  в рамках закона.

По заказу Азербайджанской стороны , правоохранительные органы Сегодня нарушили две статьи из конституции РФ,  1ая и 2ая , которые являются самыми главными.

Нет необходимости перечислять первую и вторую статью конституции РФ , так как каждый уважающий себя гражданин России должен их обе знать.

Уважаемый президент , я большую часть своей жизни прожил в России,  то , что в последнее время происходит в РФ  со стороны правоохранительных органов , это явное нарушение прав человека, не украшает Россию.

Одним из примеров является как сотрудники полиции ударили женщину в живот, которую показали потом везде.

И последний случай происходящий с Эльвином Исаевым , когда утверждают , что он получил паспорт РФ незаконным путём,  кто дал ему этот паспорт ?!

Я очень прошу вас , я сторонник того что бы все решалось по правилам , по закону , у потерпевшего имеются несовершеннолетние дети и супруга этого человека русской национальности , что у нас тогда получается , по заказу Азербайджана,  супруга должна растить детей одна , только потому что потерпевший борется за соблюдение закона в Азербайджане.

Этот гражданин РФ 21 год платит налоги в казну государства.

Довожу до вашего сведения , что в Азербайджане множество заключённых из за политических соображений .

Сегодня если Эльвина Исаева отправят в Азербайджан , никто не даст гарантию за его жизнь , так как там правоохранительные органы борется с этим силой , что бы навести страх , если с ним что то случится , то это будет по вине РФ.

Уважаемый Президент,  по-моему личному опыту , я знал , что Россия является маяком для ближнего зарубежья.

Я очень вас прошу,  отнестись к этому письму уважительно.
