I want to put a hug curtain up in the doors of the Glacier View Lodge Complex Care Facility. Human contact is vital for the mental and physical health of people, especially during these trying times. The purpose of this particular curtain will be for the old and more vulnerable people who live inside places like Glacier View to hug their loved ones whom they haven't been able to see in months. 

For me, the idea started when I cried out of loneliness for the first time this month. They were painful tears. So I thought, if I'm hurting now, the people who live inside places like Glacier View must be hurting even more. I strive to restore some resemblance of physical comfort to the more vulnerable populous. 

Glacier View is only the starting point for my quest to restore comfort. My longer term goal is to have hug curtains up all over the valley in all the buildings where elderly and immune compromised people live. The arm socks would need to be cleaned out and/or changed every so often depending on how many people they end up attracting. The material should be fairly cheap, I just need permission to put them up. Once the first curtains go up, I'll try and put a small article/advertisement letting people know about these wonderful curtains.
