There is no end to the complexities of the British Government's (M.O.D.) history of discrimination and exploitation of Gurkhas and their families.

Due to the economic hardship that has befallen the families, they are deprived of education, health, social and political rights. The problem of having to wander around to make a living has never stopped.

The main reason for Gurkha families to move to the U.K. is economic weakness. While those who go to the U.K. for real estate or mortgages, are taking out mortgage loans and other reasons for loans, they are also completely dissatisfied.

More than 30% of the affected Gurkhas and their families in Nepal are finding it difficult to lead a normal life. If the British Government (M.O.D.) had faithfully complied with the tripartite agreement reached on 9 November 1947, the families of the Gurkhas who made sacrifices for the British Government would not have had to live painful lives.

Therefore, as the son of the victim of the unfortunate treatment of Gurkhas, I humbly urge the British Government (M.O.D.) today, just as the heroic tales of the Gurkhas spread all over the world, to address the oppression of these Gurkhas and their families.
