Save Lutterell Hall

The Conservative-led Borough Council has detailed plans to advertise Lutterell Hall for sale without any proper consultation.
This is our hall and we should have a say on what happens to it!

Lutterell Hall is a beautiful period building built in 1929 and situated in a prime location with easy access from public transport and on site parking. It has been owned for the last 40 years by Rushcliffe Borough Council and is a hub for our local community. Lutterell Hall is well used, including:

•St. Giles Playgroup on a weekly basis
•Community group meetings on a monthly basis
•Exercise / dance classes on a weekly basis
•Singing group on a weekly basis
•Sunday school on a weekly basis
•Children’s parties
•Wedding receptions
•Adult celebrations

Yet Rushcliffe Borough Council are planning to advertise Lutterell Hall for development removing vital services from West Bridgford and surrounding areas with out any consultation.

We the undersigned call upon Rushcliffe Borough Council Cabinet to reject the proposal to advertise property for sale. Instead Rushcliffe Borough Council formulate a plan to increase the awareness of Lutterell Hall to increase the use of the community.

Furthermore we believe that Lutterell Hall is a key community facility and should be viewed as such rather than an income revenue.
