Hello everyone. At long last Rugby Borough Council has notified local people formally about the appeal which will be held as an informal public hearing in the council chamber in Rugby on 30 October, starting at 10am. Despite the assertion in the letter of a prior notification in July no-one seemed to have received that. Please let us know if you did.
The letter says that the appeal documents are accessible via the RBC planning site (www.planningportal.rugby.gov.uk), but in fact they aren't as of today. We have alerted RBC to that fact. Until that's fixed, if you want to see them, you'll have to make an appointment to go into the town hall.
We'll post further updates as the information becomes available. In the meantime if you'd like to know more please contact Nigel Reeves, case officer at RBC or Stephen Wallis, case officer at Planning Inspectorate.
