Hello I apologise I have not given you an update for a long time - I have been waiting to see what the latest general election would bring. It seems we have a new government and therefore we can begin planning the next step forward in the campaign. Signature numbers have levelled off for now, but this is not neccessarily an issue as I am looking into wways of presenting a petition with below the advised 100,000 signatures, but the more we have th more weight we hold! I will keep you posted on the next steps, but please keep Sharing in the meantime, alike you general election votes every signature counts! I also wanted to share with you the fantatsic news that the World Transplant Games (the transplantee version of the Olympics - where every competitor has had a transplant and been selected to ocmpete for thei country) is receiving coverage not just here but in other countries too. They're currenly being held in Malaga - where transplantees such as the incredible Janka Penther are competing for Team GB: https://www.facebook.com/BBCSouthToday/videos/1413551658735420/?pnref=story Plus: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/…/How-woman-cystic-fibrosis-defi… [http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-4638052/how-woman-cystic-fibrosis-defied-expectations.html/&h=atns_eqyrzk5lxnvcykf_gtft-8xsmt2ncfilz3ums7_9b7yj0cyuror21twljoagswplyjujck-881ikyikfm_t0r9tq51akbfxhhnpyhtmkx7wwo41-xit530wxsd_ddvzpnp-znzytriahzwr_js&enc=azortjoe-b_wknlhtjim8tcssmtna4omtxlrwkfr_5unbqcmtayat7b71t1-17rm9t-o62jfyqxjdchf5kb8fcthkehth6l0nssejwzoxzldv0l8vj9_3fabzximiyeaqzik2c-7qgfqzjqmkvdsd2lzy5hwwqotlnplifwc42b-ya8qn2-dnb6l86mpdyxvwdus1oidhufp2wqqrwqj0-i_&s=1_green] Not only did Janka come across brilliantly, but I am relieved the issue of how gruelling life pre-transplant can be is being higlighted. Good luck to all the competitiors! Kindest regards Lucy x
