Waihopai Station is a spy base located in Marlborough, it has long been the subject of controversy because of the secretive and corrupt nature of the facility. The controversy has recently been sparked by the American election won by Donald Trump, it is well acknowledged that information gathered by Waihopai is actively being shared with the American government in coalition with the NSA (National Security Agency) that branches out to other foreign countries such as Aotearoa. I am calling the New Zealand government to put a stop to the civil liberties being violated by the operation of the Waihopai spy base and stop government surveillance on New Zealand citizens once and for all.

The responsibility for this policy lies with The New Zealand Government, Labour Party, Jacinda Ardern (Minister for National Security and Intelligence) and Andrew Little (Minister Responsible for the GCSB).  Another influential party is the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB).
