Each year many, many animals and elderly people become terrified by the continual sound of fireworks exploding. Guy Fawkes Night is no longer celebrated on the 5th November alone, but stretches over several nights. Fireworks should only be used for Professional displays and a licence ought to be necessary to purchase them. However youths have been igniting them since the beginning of October and will no doubt continue until New Years Eve. Year on year the situation worsens - and our beloved pets are suffering as a result.
