The National Shop Stewards Network sends our support and solidarity to the thousands of steelworkers, their families and the steel unions who are trying to come to terms with the news that Tata is looking to sell off its UK steel business. This means that what should be a fundamental foundation of the economy and the jobs and communities that go with it are under real threat.

We call for the UK plants to be nationalised to save these priceless assets.
