All parents out there will know how frustrating it is when you are trying to find a parent and child parking space but they are taken by those without children.

The spaces are larger to make it easier to get a child in and out of a car without knocking the vehicle next to you. Many a time, I’ve had to move spaces or take my child out of the other side of my car as I have had to park in a regular space.

I can’t count how many times I’ve come across people parking in parent and child allocated bays, without young children and it’s driving me mad!

I am petitioning for fines and/or penalties to be handed out for those who wrongfully park in these bays. 

The spaces are larger and closer to the stores for safety reasons.
