I wish to draw attention to and put an end to the metal spikes used to stop birds landing on rooftops and fences. These unforgiving metal spikes look like Medieval torture spikes and cut the feet off birds ripping them to shreds, I have seen so many birds damaged from these spikes, it is barbaric beyond words. It is 2018, surely in this day and age other materials can be used such as a rubber or plastic that would stop them landing but bend and not rip the birds to pieces. Nature has every right to be here, as human beings we should be more respectful and conscious of the damage that we are doing. This should be an illegal practice.
