My mother decided to put Angel down last Friday because she 'couldnt afford her' yet she is buying herself a brand new car and giving her old car for FREE to her new boyfriend.
I took her home on friday without my mother knowing and she is pressing charges on me (her daughter) for theft of property and demanding Angel goes back to her to be put down.
My mother removed my father from shared ownership on Angels microchip without his knowledge through court.
Angel has been taken to the vet and deemed in a stable condition, though she is overweight due to her diet my mother was giving her knowing she was already overweight and kidney issues which are being treated now. The vet also told us she has two rotten teeth which should have been removed a long time ago (under my mothers care when she was apparently taking angel to the vet monthly) along with knotted and dreaded fur, she was neglected! We have changed her diet and are booking her in to get those two teeth removed. Angel is thriving in our house and is actually running and playing in our backyard. She is not ready to go. She was an inconvenience to my mum. At the end of the day my mother was not going home with Angel she was going to be put down. We want to give Angel a second chance of life because she deserves it!
