Firstly, this will be our Final update for awhile because we can no longer take the reigns when it comes to raising public awareness for Bramble Hall Farm here. We have too much going on as it is, to take on a leading role in this matter. A new group/page has been made to solely raise awareness for Bramble Farm and push for a better outcome. We wish nothing but the best to the group of individuals who will continue to take this on and will offer advice or support when necessary. Click here to join their Page.
Secondly, Western Telegraph have issued an article of what happened in the court room on the 7th March 2019 regarding the forfeiture of 200+ animals that were seized from Bramble premises on 29th January 2019. You can read that here
As it stands, the owner will have to appear in crown court soon, pending criminal charges as an elaborate investigation is still on-going. We are hopeful he will get a custodial prison sentence for his illegal smokies operation. We will just have to sit back to wait and see. We have removed anything that can be used in the form of, the owners defence; to plead bullying or his health and safety has been compromised. Please continue to keep this campaign peaceful.
Council say a period of 28 days from now will be available for those with an interest, as owners, to lodge an appeal. We would urge any one with missing dogs in the area or further afield to lodge an appeal using the details below because the owners of this farm did have people steal dogs from loving families for their illegal mass dog breeding.
"Council officers have been in contact with other people who have been identified as having a potential ownership interest in the animals taken into possession. Where evidence exists, these parties have been notified of the court hearing so that representations can be made."
Any persons who believe they have a right of ownership in respect of animals seized should notify the council’s Animal Welfare team on 01437 764 551 as a matter of urgency.
A group of people have started an ONLINE action event . Where YOU can help save the 53 pigs of Bramble Farm by sending emails to council. These 53 pigs have been deemed, to be destroyed by the authority of the courts. They are desperately trying to find sanctuaries for these pigs to live out the rest of their days. Please join their event and send an email to council on Monday 11th March 2019
Thank you all for being here! For signing and caring to share about these animals! We now have to just wait and see what happens in the next court room!
